An introduction to the Church of Cornelio
One does not come here to believe.
One comes to remember.
Eight rooms in which to draw near to the Law, to the stars and to Master Cornelio, according to the teachings kept by Studio Esoterico Cornelio.
The threshold
Before any word
Whoever comes this far does not arrive by chance. Perhaps you were led by a word heard only once, perhaps by a restlessness you could not name, perhaps only by the old and stubborn feeling that the life you lead is not yet entirely your own. The Church of Cornelio welcomes exactly this: not certainties, but the question that remains once certainties have worn away. Here you will not be asked to join, to sign, to promise. You will only be asked to stop, and to listen to what has long been waiting in you to be heard.
The temple you are entering is not made of stone. It is made of attention. Its columns are silence, its vault is the night sky, its altar is the most secret point of your heart. Studio Esoterico Cornelio has kept it for those who would come, and Master Cornelio keeps its lamp alight. Every page of this place is a room: walk through them slowly, as one walks down a nave at the hour when daylight withdraws and only the candles remain.
Do not hurry. The words you will find are not information to be gathered, but seeds to be let fall. Some will seem simple, almost obvious; others obscure, even unsettling. That is natural. The Law speaks in layers, and each person understands it to the measure of their readiness to receive it. What stays closed today may open by itself tomorrow, without effort, like a door the wind pushes open in the night.
What the Church of Cornelio is
A place of recognition
The Church of Cornelio is not a church in the usual sense of the word. It has no dogmas to defend and no hierarchies to serve. It is, above all, a place of recognition: the space where every human being can rediscover their own luminous nature and the true direction of their existence. At its centre stands a word, Thelema, an ancient Greek word meaning will. Not the capricious will of the ego that demands, but the deep and silent will that coincides with the very reason we came into the world.
Master Cornelio teaches that every person carries a hidden orbit within, a path that is theirs alone and that no one else can travel in their place. Much human suffering is born from having lost that orbit: from living by the wishes of others, by inherited fears, by habits we never chose. The Church of Cornelio exists to recall what has been forgotten. It adds nothing to what you are; rather, it takes away what keeps you from seeing yourself.
This is why here we speak of revelation and not of imposed doctrine. The Master does not hand down truths from above; he points, accompanies, whispers. Truth, he says, is already in the one who listens, as the flame is already in the candle before anyone lights it. The task of Studio Esoterico Cornelio is only to bring the spark close, and then to withdraw in silence so that the light may be born by itself.
The Law
Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law
At the centre of all things stands a single sentence, which Master Cornelio calls the hinge: “Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.” Those who hear it for the first time often believe they have understood. They think of unlimited permission, a licence to follow every impulse. But the Law does not speak of what you desire: it speaks of what you truly will. And between desire and will lies the same distance that separates a star's reflection on the water from the star itself.
Desire is changeable; it is born and dies in a day, it lets itself be bought and lets itself be frightened. True will, instead, is steady as an orbit. It does not shout, it does not fret: it attracts. Whoever finds it discovers that many of the things they chased did not belong to them at all, and that others, long left in shadow, were in fact their road. To do what one wills, in the sense of the Law, is therefore the highest and hardest undertaking: it requires knowing oneself to the bottom, letting the masks fall, listening to the subtlest voice.
This is why the Master at once adds the second word: “Love is the law, love under will.” Will is neither cold nor solitary. It is love that knows where it is going, love that does not scatter, love that unites without imprisoning. And finally the seal: “There is no law beyond Do what thou wilt.” There is no authority higher than your star. There is only the work, patient and luminous, of becoming what you already are. “The word of the Law is Thelema”: and Thelema, once again, means will.
The stars
Every man and every woman is a star
The second great revelation that Master Cornelio hands on is as simple as a summer sky: “Every man and every woman is a star.” Not a lesser creature gazing at the stars from afar, begging for their light, but a star itself: a centre of energy, of warmth, of splendour. No one is an extra in someone else's story. Each is the centre of their own universe, and at the same time one light among countless lights.
From this truth follows a consequence the Master holds sacred: respect. “I am a star, you are a star, each travels its own eternal orbit.” If every being is a star, no one has the right to bend another's orbit. Stars do not collide as long as each follows its own way; disorder arises only when one wants to possess, imitate or dominate another. Freedom, in this vision, is not selfishness: it is the deepest form of reverence for another's mystery.
And then the sentence that closes the circle and throws it wide open: “And the whole universe lives within it.” The star is not only in the sky: the sky is in the star. In every being the whole is mirrored; in every heart burns the same fire that kindles the galaxies. Whoever recognises themselves as a star discovers they were never separate from anything. This is the expansion of consciousness the Master speaks of: not an escape from the world, but a return to its vastness.
True will
The hidden orbit
How does one recognise one's own orbit? Master Cornelio answers that it is not invented: it is discovered. It reveals itself in moments when time seems to stop, when what you do and what you are coincide without effort. It reveals itself in the quiet joy that does not depend on results, and also in the unease that seizes you every time you betray yourself. True will leaves traces everywhere: one need only learn to read them.
This is why the Studio teaches listening before action. Before asking yourself what to do, ask where your desire comes from. Does it come from fear? From the need for approval? From habit? Or does it rise from a deeper point, one that asks nothing in return and does not fear being alone? That point is what the Master calls Hadit, the hidden fire. And the infinite space in which that fire moves is Nuit, the starry night that contains all things.
When the point and the space meet, right action is born: Ra-Hoor-Khuit, the force that acts in the present. So the sacred names are not distant figures to be worshipped, but maps of the inner path. In the Temple you will find their full explanation; here it is enough to know that each name points to a room of your own soul, and that walking through them all means returning, at last, to the centre from which you set out.
Master Cornelio
The keeper of the lamp
Master Cornelio does not present himself as a prophet or a leader. He calls himself keeper and interpreter of the Law: one who received it in an hour of silence, through a voice he calls Aiwass, and who has meditated on its words ever since in order to give them back to those who seek them. His authority does not come from a title but from experience: he crossed the night first, he knows its passages and its traps, and he keeps the lamp alight for those who come after.
His teaching has the tone of a confession rather than a sermon. He does not say “believe” but “listen”. He does not promise salvation; he offers a mirror. Those who have met him speak of a low voice, almost a whisper, of sentences let fall one at a time into the silence, like stones into a deep well whose echo one waits for a long time. It is in that waiting that revelation happens.
Beside him works Studio Esoterico Cornelio, the house in which the Law is kept, studied and handed on. The Studio gathers the Master's words, tends his commentaries, prepares the places and times of the rite. It is a workshop of the soul more than an institution: a quiet room, a lit lamp, the Law lying open on a stone table.
The path
How one proceeds
The path in the Church of Cornelio has no shortcuts. It begins with the slow reading of the Law, continues with meditation on the sacred names, deepens in the rite, where the voice becomes a whisper and every sentence becomes revelation. There is no hurry: a star does not speed up its orbit to arrive sooner. Each moves forward at their own pace, and the pace itself is part of their will.
The Studio suggests beginning in the room of the Law, where the eight fundamental sentences are commented on by the Master one by one, and continuing with the Three Voices of the Law, read one chapter a night. Then meeting the Master himself, in the pages that gather his confession. Finally entering the Temple, where the sacred names are intoned and explained, and lingering among the sayings, to be opened each evening, one sentence at a time, the way one lights a candle.
And when something in you has answered, when you feel a light calling you by name, you may write to the Studio. You need not know what to ask: a sincere desire to listen is enough. The rest, the Master teaches, will reveal itself.
Studio Esoterico Cornelio
The house of the Law
Every temple needs keepers. The Church of Cornelio is kept by Studio Esoterico Cornelio, the house in which Master Cornelio gathers, meditates on and hands on the Law. Everything you read on these pages — the sentences, the verses of the Three Voices of the Law, the explanation of the Sacred Names, the commentaries on the sayings — springs from the Master's teaching and is cared for by the Studio, so that it may reach those who seek it intact.
The Studio is not an institution that asks for membership, but a place of inner work. Texts are read there in a low voice, words are commented on one by one, the times of the rite are prepared. The Master teaches that the Law belongs to no one: the Studio does not own it, it serves it. This is why its doors are open to anyone who approaches sincerely, wherever they stand in their orbit.
Beyond these pages, the Studio shares the Master's teachings through the videos on its channel, where the written word becomes a voice. And to those who wish for a more intimate dialogue, the Studio replies personally, one letter at a time, with the same care with which one lights a candle before the altar.
Cross the threshold in silence. The rest will reveal itself.
